Pastor Marvin Sapp Debuts "From A Man's Point of View" on Elev8.com

Interactive One, the largest digital media company serving Black Americans, introduced several upgrades to Elev8.com , its site devoted to family, health and spirituality.  In addition to enhancements that will enrich the mobile experience, the website launched "From A Man's Point of View," a new column by celebrated recording artist Marvin Sapp.

Black Girls Rock!™ Accepting Applications for 2012 Queens Camp

BLACK GIRLS ROCK!  Inc. is now accepting applications from around the world for its 2012 QUEENS CAMP FOR LEADERSHIP & EXCELLENCE for girls aged 13-17. The two-week intensive leadership program will be held at a beautiful fully-equipped camp facility in Rhinebeck, NY from July 21, 2012 to August 4, 2012. This overnight camp, designed for exemplary teenage girls of color, will feature arts culture workshops, outdoor activities, athletics, academic enrichment, guest speakers and more.

Oikos University to Create Memorial Fund in Honor of Victims of April 2 Shooting

University President Jongin Kim condemns "violence in our society" and extends public condolences to victims' families and friends; thanks all those who responded to tragedy.  Oikos University announced that it is creating a special memorial fund in honor of the seven people killed at the school on April 2.

The Oakland Imani Youth Council of the NAACP is calling for a Rally to Support the Family of Trayvon Martin, Monday, March 26th at the Oakland City Hall Plaza.
