Services Set for Addie Thomas

News of Bay Area great, Addie M. Thomas' passing immediately set off a flood of heartfelt messages online from the gospel community.  A respected and beloved musician to both Evergreen MBC, and Berkeley Mt. Zion MBC - she also served the Gospel Music Workshop Association - Northern California Chapter, and other local groups and choirs. (November 1, 1944 - January 14, 2012)

St. Paul AME Church presents Women In the Faith Sistahs' Conference

The Second Annual WOMEN IN THE FAITH SISTAHS CONFERENCE, sponsored by St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, Berkeley, will begin on Saturday, January 21, 2012 with a prayer breakfast, and will continue through Tuesday, January 24, 2012, with worship and personal reflection experiences.
